We welcomed more than 400 mortgage advisers, partners and industry professionals to the ICC Wales in Newport for the Cornerstone Expo 2026.
This year’s Expo included more than 80 exhibitors and featured a schedule of keynote addresses and discussions, including on the economic outlook as well as insights into the property and protection markets.
The event kicked off with an overview of the UK’s economic outlook with James Campbell, Economist at Lloyds Banking Group.
Sprinter and Olympic medallist Darren Campbell MBE took part in a fireside chat with Our CEO Haydn Thomas, during which the pair discussed the power of teamwork and the importance of having strong support networks in both sport and business.
Building on the success of our inaugural 2024 event, Expo 2026 once again provided our advisers, partners and colleagues with a valuable opportunity to connect, learn and collaborate.
The winners of the Cornerstone Finance Group Awards 2026 were also announced at a ceremony hosted by former Wales rugby international Scott Quinnell.
The Expo concluded with the Cornerstone Finance Group Awards 2026. Hosted by former Wales rugby international Scott Quinnell, the awards recognised outstanding mortgage and protection professionals across the Cornerstone Network.
Reflecting on the success of Expo 2026, CEO Haydn Thomas said:
