South London-based Steve Head has joined Cornerstone Commercial Finance as a Registered Individual (RI).

Steve is an independent finance broker with more than 20 years’ experience in banking and property, having worked with Barclays and Handelsbanken before setting up specialist property finance firm Tambeth Finance in 2018.

He advises individuals and companies on property purchases, refinancing, investment and development, with a particular strength in specialist and portfolio lending.

He said: “Cornerstone offers a strong compliance culture and innovative tech solutions alongside first-class business development and marketing support, and I have no doubt that this will help Tambeth Finance to continue to go from strength to strength.”

Kevin Morgan, Managing Director of Cornerstone Commercial Finance, said:

“Steve has made a name for himself for his friendly, personal approach to client service which resonates with our relationship-led model at Cornerstone.

“This, combined with his decades of experience and his in-depth specialist knowledge, puts him in a strong position to continue to grow his business. We are delighted to have him on board.”

Cornerstone Commercial Finance is part of the Cardiff-headquartered Cornerstone Finance Group. The Group was recognised as one of the 50 fastest-growing businesses in Wales by the UK Fast Growth Index 2025, which identifies and celebrates the most rapidly expanding firms across the UK.
